About David Lesh
David Lesh has a history of success having started and sold two dental laboratories, a developer of medical software, speaker, author and consultant. David founded both Dale Dental and Concert Dental Labs, both of which were taken from startup to exit. David began in the industry working in his father’s lab in management and technical positions. David’s love for business lead him to take a VP of Sales & Marketing position with one of the largest labs in the Northeast. After moving to Dallas in 2000, David started Dale Dental as America’s first dental lab for other dental labs.
Dale Dental manufactured the latest and most high-tech dental restorations for dental labs throughout the United States. David grew Dale Dental in just a few years from startup to 5,000 dental lab customers throughout the USA. Dale Dental became the exclusive US distributor for several well known brands including BioCad CADCAM implant bars (now Noble Procera), Compartis ISUS implant bars and Straumann custom abutments as well as creating its own branded products responsible for millions of dollars in annual sales. Dale Dental was sold to Argen.
In 2014 David started Concert Dental Labs, with its now famous tagline, "the Best Seats in the House." Concert grew at over 55% CAGR with industry leading gross margins, and became a multi-million dollar dental lab in just a few years. David retired from Concert in early 2018 after merging it with YDL Dental Lab to form YDL Concert.

Throughout each business, David used his keen understanding of the dental industry to create unique positioning, and solid sales and marketing strategies that focused on customer acquisition, clinical excellence, reducing customer churn and increasing sales and profits. In addition, David began a custom software development group that built the lab management, business processes and electronic prescriptions that both Dale and Concert were run on processing over 300,000 cases.
David started 8&9 Dental Lab Consulting so he could work with lab owners and managers on unsolved challenges in their business, finding new opportunities, improving sales, operations and profits.
